I write speculative fiction and nonfiction, often disability-related and focused on autism. I am also currently editing a nonfiction anthology with contributions by adult-diagnosed autistic people.

My academic background is in information science (user experience research and design) and behavioral science (cultural/evolutionary and developmental psychology, social cognition, and cognitive anthropology).
I’ve worked as a project coordinator on the Reproducibility Project: Psychology, a data manager on various health and research projects at the University of California, San Francisco, a user interface design engineer intern at Jewelry Television, and a logistics management specialist and museum interpretive planner as part of a Presidential Management Fellowship.
